We all have this attractive plant in our gardens or have at least seen it more than once. But did you know that wild garlic is edible? The whole plant is edible, leaves, flowers and the bulbs.
Today let’s use it to make a cup of calming, yet immune-boosting brew. The recipe consists of fresh herbs and pantry staples that provide antioxidants, vitamins, minerals and nutrients that will give your immune system a serious boost! It’s strong and pungent, but worth every sip!
In a pot of boiling water, add:
Finely chopped Ginger
Finely chopped wild garlic (flowers and leaves)
Finely chopped rosemary, thyme, mpepho (helichrysum)
Honey to taste
Stir well and allow to steep, and drink as hot as possible.
